Professional Development Procurement

All procurement for professional development for professional staff should be in conformance with a professional development plan (see Professional Development).  Regardless of  staff position, professional development must be based upon the needs of the individual’s position and the Network and in alignment with the Strategic Plan.  If this need is not documented in the procurement by reference to a professional development plan, then procurement requires the prior written approval of the associate state director or state director.
